We don't need more laws we need less. In louisiana this is allowed, they are even eligible at in zone private/select schools.

Is that the state legislators getting outside of their lane (kind of like their Governor) trying to regulate a private organization?

Kids spend way too much time in school each day. And summer’s are too short. It can all be done in half the time.
Wish we had homeschooled until HS.

it’s unfair to the student athletes who probably have to take a math or English class with a demanding teacher… while the home school kid mom just giving him A’s …
Just so we’re clear you’re arguing that a Louisiana public school teacher teaching football player classes is likely going to be MORE demanding than a parent who chooses to keep their son out of Louisiana public schools and follow a homeschooling program?

Obviously you don’t know how home schooling works. Parents do not give grades it goes through an online program. I suppose the parents can do the work but I believe kids are monitored when tested.

I guess I am… it’s more checks and balances on a public school teacher than a mom I would think… none of that matters anyway this concerning should’ve the child be allowed to participate in a school athletic team without actually attending said school

With a lot of public schools in Louisiana the reverse is more likely to happen.

Unfortunately I don’t know. I only know, the little I do know, is from internet period.

So it’s completely arbitrary. In the hands of low IQ minions. Swell.
