Because some of these teams could be playing up to 4 hours away from home, too much travel and school missed would be the main problem with that I imagine.
Besides we can always tweak the rules to keep North LA from playing BR and NOLA until state

Hoping this rain holds off so WM can play at 11. Weather Bug says no precip but damn if it doesn't look like it's about to start raining any second.

This years teams has to be one of the best WM has had in a long time.
WM had a great run way back in 1999 with Brian West.
They had several good runs over the years.
Gotta take them one game at a time.

#12 CHS-NI apparently just beat #5 Calvary in game 2, 3-1. They won the series 2-0 after their 12-1 victory yesterday.

Ouachita played a very good game, but couldn't knock any base runners in when it counted.
West Monroe's speed and defense is top-notch.
Will be excited to watch them against either Sulphur or Hahnville.

Ouachita's pitcher went 88 Tuesday and 99 today. 187 in game pitches this week. Plus caught last night. C'mon man.

Sam Houston beats St Amant 4-3 to advance to the third round. Very dissapointed in my Gators. Should have been a lot better than what they were

Tough loss. I'm with you. I expected STA to be better with Enlow and Zane as well as how good they were in football this year. Usually that carries over.
