Pearson with a BOMB. WM wins. Pair of 3-1 games over ASH. Finish the regular season 32-2, 15-0 in district.

did they change the rule if there was an upset then the lower seed gets the home game?

Ex: #2 beats #31 and #18 upsets #15. #18 used to get the home game.

Might be different now with all the 2/3 series. Might still be in effect for the classes who still don't use 2/3 series.

Think it changed last year. Ruston upset WM and had to travel to Zachary last year.

St Amant will take on Ruston in the first round on Tuesday night. Let's see how far the Gators pitching can take them this postseason

Both beatable, Sam Houston has had trouble making deep runs but new coach this year that I've known for a while that does great job. Very similar philosophy as Barbe on the field but prone to make errors. Barbe is their usual program and nobody will out prepare Glenn C. Their potential weakness for is bullpen depth from what I've seen this year but they just put so much pressure on you on the base paths and at the plate that most teams eventually crack. Guess I would say SH more beatable than Barbe but both are very good teams with great coaching. If you have to face Goree from Barbe for 1 game to advance you're probably in trouble.

Thanks to y'all for losing to Higgins. Must be nice to still make it.

WM will beat Higgins 20-0 in 5.

Our guy who shoved it up yalls arse would have at least been competitive.

Does St Amant have a good chance to beat Sam Houston if they get past Ruston? Good chance that will be the 2nd round matchup.

You're really posting that after being 32nd of 50 teams?

Our best player was out for 10 games and we went 2-8 in that stretch. Blowing 6 6th inning or later leads. He wins us at least 4-5 of those by not making errors at SS.

Us and Higgins probably would have liked to not have to play a 3 win team twice...

Although OCS is the 2 seed, they lost a lot from last year. Plus they're playing against bigger schools this year. Not sure they win it all.

But think about all those other kids that will get to experience playoff baseball thanks to the split? It's a feel good story.
