We are going to need to clean up the errors and get Schwaner out of his slump to make a legit run. The starting and middle relief pitching is finally coming around, and I have been extremely impressed with our freshman arms.
Harington hit a homer and had 3 RBI's in his first start last night. Kid was a high school stud, could be a big player for us.

Oh you saw that did you?
All the freshman have been great. Our hitting is there. You nailed it, no errors and have a solid 3,4 hitter and we can go streaking.

Because we made it to 28 in a poll last week, then decide to get smoked by South Alabama and lose to Jackson State.

Tech loses to FIU, 9-7. Came back from down 6-1 in the 8th and took a 7-6 lead. Gave up the lead in the 9th. Very poor pitching outside of reliever Sullivan. Smith is usually good but gave them that lead in the 9th.

A State walked off the Cajuns with a HBP. Our offense finally did a couple of things and our bullpen melted down. This team just sucks.

SLU took game one in Lake Chuck last night, after the Pokes scored a couple runs late to make it interesting. Solid late inning pitching for SLU is something we have been lacking, so glad to see someone finally step up and shut down the last two innings.

On a board with a lot of uncreative people, CP3LSU25 tops them all.
Cajuns don't give a frick this year. If they fall behind, they'll just pack it in. We have a bunch of freshmen pitchers who will be good in time but they're being thrown in to high pressure situations every time out because if we give up 5 runs, we lose.
Hope Tremaine Spears is ok, though. He took a pitch to the face tonight, lost a couple of teeth in the process, sounds like a possible facial fracture as well.
