Looks like another year of explosive offense for the Cajuns

Kind of impressive to be complete trash with the bats for like 3 seasons

So happy baseball is back! Hopefully Tulane can rebound from last season.

SLU wins 5-2. They have a good hitting team again this year. Real threat to win their conference.

They always are, not sure this is one of their better teams.

Cajuns will be fine in the end, they pitch, play defense, and have some young players with talent. Same goes for the Tigers. I have followed both for over 35 years in baseball and it's always the same thing every year, the sky is falling. I can't tell which is worse at this time, Raginpagin or Td.com ?

Cajuns would probably strike out 6 times in a slow pitch softball game. Our effort at the plate is embarrassing.

They will not make post season unless they can win the conference tournament which is possible. Depends on South Alabama.

Nah, that's not true. Sun Belt is hardly ever a 1-bid league. Cajuns would've probably gotten in last year if we didn't play St. Peter's. If we end up with a good record, we'll have a strong enough RPI to make it as an at large.

Well one plays in the SEC and one plays in the Sunbelt, there's not a room for error in the Sunbelt.
Both teams will struggle to make the post season but LSU will get the benefit of the doubt.

Damn ULL only had 3 hits. Impressed by Koestler tonight, had a great game.

I understand it's not usually a 2 bid league, even the Southland had two teams. I just don't think ULL is good enough to get a at large bid.

Still way too early to know. We have a buttload of freshmen playing. We'll know in a couple of weeks what kind of team this will be. Offense is looking horrible though

I agree, a lot of baseball to be played. If Texas sweeps LSU then I will have more confidence in the cajuns. So far they have play historically good opponents.

We really should've taken 2/3 from Texas, but it was a good series. Both teams pitch and play defense, neither team hits very well. Interesting to see how Texas' arms look against LSU.
