I had the vantage point where you could see as soon as he rolled out that he was going to score

I think I should point out that my reaction to Hartley sending the Saints to the Super Bowl was delayed b/c my seats were sideline seats and I watched the officials under the goal post to see if it was good or not (couldn't really tell if the kick went between the goal posts or was wide of them)
the official I was watching didn't exactly extend his arms up all the way in my view so I was confused if he was signaling good or no good
then it kinda sunk in... I had just watched the Saints clinch their 1st trip to the Super Bowl

Game 3 of the 2016 World Series at Wrigley. First WS Game at Wrigley in 71 years. Pregame introductions. “Going the Distance” from Rocky is playing thru the system.
When the PA guy announced the starting lineups, it was nuts. When he announced Rizzo’s name and he ran out on the field, i couldn’t feel myself think it was so loud.

I was in the terrace, so I had to watch the people in the stands behind the goal post
Then I checked for flags
Then I cried like a little bitch

I know it’ll be looked down upon here, but this past January, I brought my kid to the Royal Rumble in Houston.
There were 2 spots when I don’t think I’ve ever heard a crowd louder. Only at LSU, maybe. ‘01 win vs. Tennessee in OT.
When Lesnar was eliminated from the Rumble and when Edge’s music hit.
I know these are different events, but the crowds at the WWE venues, when they’re hot, are unrivaled.

as I said... my mom was my Saints game buddy
as soon as I realized it... I gave her the biggest hug I've ever given her in my life

when Edge’s music hit.
MASSIVE pop
I wanted to be there for that so bad.
Looking back it's one of the last big "sports" gatherings we had in this country. I miss the crowd at wrestling shows the most.

by the way... completely underrated moment of the 2009 season... including in Dome noise
I think as soon as Devery scored this TD... it started to set in to everyone that the Saints were legit Super Bowl contenders and it really became a party that night

What a night

2011 "Game of the Century".
BDS was ridiculous all night long.
We could have made almost $2,000 by selling our 2 tickets because we got them for free. But I'm ecstatic I didn't. Was an incredible atmosphere. Loved it despite losing.
Walking to the car afterwards, 4 LSU frat boys rolled by all of the Bama fans gloating and cussing at everyone. 2 LSU fans walking next to us offered to help beat their asses, lol.
