Great catch by that kid.

I really wish they would move LLWS closer to normal rules/dimensions for this age group. It really just makes for a bad game IMO

Closer to not actual regulation size. These kids are much more advanced than normal little leaguers

Which is it? Other guy said crosses the plate.
It's when it crosses the plate. I umped a couple Little League tournaments this summer

Move it to 54/80 and let them lead off. It’s just a bad brand of baseball. Nothing ever happens other than bad baseball
ETA either change the dimensions to reflect the size of these kids or change the age requirement.
The field is just too small
Honestly LL should have done this a long time ago to counter the other leagues which are all playing on much larger fields at this age. I feel like it would attract much more kids as LL still has the tv contract which is obviously enticing

I feel good about…
California
Hawaii
I don’t feel amazing about…
Michigan
Oregon
I would really never like to pick against texas, but they didn’t win their region and they have a girl, plus I think Michigan has looked awesome so I’m taking a chance

Do they play the Oregon/S. Dakota loser tomorrow? Or does the bracket flip and they get the California/Ohio loser?
Also, what's the pitching rules look like? Anybody who has to face that lefty from S. Dakota is going to have a rough game ahead of them.

They’ll play Ohio
Over 65 pitches requires 4 days of rest

if they win today, i think they can throw him against california.
i think the most likely outcome looks like they lose their next 2 and he doesnt throw again. they have a shot today against oregon, though. actually, shite, they could probably compete with a new hampshire team that will be short on pitching as well.

South Dakota vs Nebraska postponed
Posted on 8/22/21 at 1:53 pm to Mr Clean
The Hawaii vs Nebraska game is still in a weather delay.
the MLB players were in the parking lot doing interviews and signing baseballs and caps for the LLWS players. They were also walking across the field to the team's dugouts to sign stuff while some of the other MLB players were sliding down the hill on cardboard.
BUT, they have to stop the game for the weather.
