Excited for that Tenn v. Ohio matchup later today. Should be a good one.

Hawaii should win this.

You burned all my free views last week. I had to clear my browsing history to get back into business with the Cajun Advocate.

quote:

Lafayette expects to face South Dakota left-hander Gavin Weir, who was 2-0 in the Midwest Region. Weir threw 11 perfect innings in the tournament with 30 strikeouts.

HOT DAMN!!! That boy has some impressive stats.

quote:

Isaac Boudreaux led Lafayette in the Southwest Region with a .571 batting average. Eli Clark and Andrew Guidry each hit .500 with Cooper Hawkins (.444), Cole Schexnaider (.429). Nick Brown (.375) and Landyn Craft (.333) also wielding hot bats.

Looks like strength against strength if you didn't know Louisiana had a fantastic pitching staff also.

Louisiana coach sounds confident. Says they have seen pitchers as good as Weir. Then almost insinuates, while talking about the pitchers they have faced, that they have seen better. I hope he is right

He agrees with you on the South Lake Charles ace.

quote:

South Dakota, which has six players hitting at least .400, defeated Iowa (10-0), Missouri (7-0) and Nebraska (3-0) before getting upset in the championship game.

Their boys can hit too. Should be a great game. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Good informative article!!!

Keanu for Hawaii is a very good pitcher. Their team isn't quite as impressive without him.

Unfortunately for Hawaii their ambidextrous pitcher, I think the second guy up, decided to not go to the LLWS and is not with the Hawaii team.

He is going to North Carolina to play for Team USA instead

Ambidextrous pitcher from Hawaii to skip Little League World Series

Hawaii is leading Connecticut 4-1 in the bottom of the 3rd.

Hawaii kids don't trust the haoles. The majority of the team are wearing masks and they seem to be pretty tight to avoid all the haole germs.

You can bypass that. When you open the article go to the top left-hand corner and click, and then click reader view

I got that one set to record.

I’ve seen every team at least once
during the regionals.

Outside of Lafayette, I have

1) Michigan
2) Pennsylvania
3) Tennessee
4) Hawaii
5) South Dakota (but they have the best pitcher in the tournament)

I umpired the Louisiana LL State Tournament. Kid from South Lake Charles is the real deal.

im sure the one kid from south dakota is very good, but i think there are like 8-10 teams in this tournament that would have won the midwest region fairly easily
