Let's say you went into seclusion for a decade, and then got to run an NFL draft. You'd know nothing about individual players, you simply went by school/reputation. What would you pick?

Me, I'd look at LSU corners and WRs, Purdue QBs, Georgia RBs. Odds are, if someone was able to start at that position at that school, he's going to hang around in the NFL, good chance to be a star.
Someone on the SEC rant mentioned Tennessee and punters. Penn State used to be linebackers, USC RBs.

Who else just pumps out certain positions, no matter the year?

Anyone who doesn’t say Wisconsin for OL is a biased hack

I can’t even remember the last time Wisconsin had a deficient OL

I’m going to try to not use any college like twice. For the record, this is who I would go to at this very point in time, but due to the stipulation of not repeating colleges, isn’t who I would necessarily put at each of these spots.

QB - Oklahoma
RB - Alabama
WR - LSU
TE - Stanford
OL - Wisconsin

DL - Clemson
LB - USC
DB - Ohio State

P - Tennessee
K - Georgia
KR/PR - Arkansas

Memphis is Kicker U.

By next season three of the league's 32 kickers will be former Tigers.

As much as I hate to give credit to a Reb, that’s the most subtle troll I have seen in a while.

That's actually an interesting thread idea. Worst position group by Power 5 school.

Alabama - K is obvious. No other FBS school has missed more FG or XP than Alabama over the past decade. Dead f'ing last.

LSU fans get so mad about this. OSU has put out more top end players at DB the last 5 years than anyone and it’s not really close

Lattimore
Ward
Bell
Conley
Apple
Hooker
Okudah
Arnette

All 8 of those guys were first or second rounders (arnette should do the same)

Any argument that you are using Eli Apple as a talking point for is automatically null and void

Started 48/55 games he's been active in. People hate Apple but are there 3 corners better from LSU in the past 5 drafts?

If your starting DBs are

Lattimore
Roby with Okudah as your 3rd

Bell
Hooker

You are a happy GM

As I said, I'm going by most recent with future picks at the position. If you extend that out to 10 years and can add in PP Honey Badger with White and Adams then you're taking LSU. But past 3-5 years I would take OSU.

Tre white, Greedy William's, and Donte Jackson are all better than Eli Freaking Apple.

To answer your question on the last 3 corners.

Imagine if your teams two Safeties were Jamaal Adams and Tyrann Mathieu and your corners are Tre white and Patrick Peterson.

It's close but LSU has more stars imo
