Feel bad for Stafford. If he payed for the Seahawks or Panthers, he'd be a HOF lock.

The Lions entire franchise from the top down sucks. It ain't the offensive line, it ain't Stafford, it's everything.

Stafford is not the problem, but Stafford is also not the solution.

Stafford is the longest tenured #1 pick in NFL history to have never won a playoff game with the team that drafted him

11 years of Stafford, zero playoff wins. Maybe it'll just take another decade for folks to realize it's time to cut bait on him.

Is it too early for me to take a victory lap on this thread from 2017 linked below where I was the only one against that extension and many dudes replied disagreeing with me?

3 years later, it's gone exactly as I said it would, and Detroit has wasted 3 years exactly like I said they would:

I thought it's a team game and we can't rate QBs on wins and losses.

QBs worse than Stafford, earning more than Stafford (both gross and adjusted for cap space) have won playoff games.
So no, you cannot take a victory lap.

When you can provide me that great, long list of awesome QBs who never won a playoff game in 11 seasons, I'll concede you're correct, and I'm wrong.

Too late, already doing it.

Gonna sound like an a-hole here, but there is no way to spin that thread at all other than to say I was 100% correct through 3 seasons, and everyone who replied disagreeing with me was 100% incorrect.

What I said would happen...happened.

If you want me to hold my victory lap for 2 more seasons through the life of his extension, I can mildly consider it lol. But we both know how that'll go.

You're laughing emoji now makes me wonder if you were in that same thread disagreeing with me.

Otherwise, the laughing emoji really doesn't make any sense.

It's amazing, the team who is ready to win now, hasn't even expressed any interest in a QB.

How the frick can the Bears sit idle as QB's play musical chairs??? Their time frame is small, they should be all in.

Exactly, which Miami will likely send the house for.

GTFO. Miami has the #5 pick and if Tua is gone could probably trade down or trade up from their #18 pick and still get Justin Herbert in the middle of the 1st round. The 4 Pro Bowl QB's this year were prafted #8, #10, #12 and #32 while players drafted ahead of them aren't even considered top 15 NFL QB's.

I was speaking specifically about the AFC QB's. If you want to talk about the NFC QB's, they were selected 24th, 32nd, 75th and 102nd. You think RG III, Trubisky, Josh Allen, Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen and Baker Mayfield are top 15 QB's? You think they were a better value where they were selected than Aaron Rogers, Drew Brees, Lamar Jackson, Pat Mahomes, Deshaun Watson, Russell Wilson, Kirk Cousins and Ryan Tannehill?
