Most 8th graders at Catholic aren’t playing sports
Posted on 8/23/23 at 7:31 pm to TROLA
Doesnt matter how many freshmen play.
Im not even sure what sport you're talking about, but it doesnt matter.
It matters that they are ABLE to play, which they cant coming from outside the district at other schools.
That is the difference.

quote:Sure the could. That school could legally set up a feeder school outside the district. The exact same rules applied

You are getting confused here friend. Let me help
Both baseball teams are allowed to use a designated hitter. One has a DH so they use him. The other team doesn’t so they make the pitcher bat
The same rules applied to both teams, one team just didn’t make the decision to have a DH available

fricking sad that you’re angry that someone personal to you can’t play as a freshman.. seems that someone as overly concerned as you would’ve looked into this sooner

Most city high schools have no control over where their kids come from or where they go from their “feeder”

there is a yard sign in a yard in kenner near power BLVD that says "a blankety blank,, blanker" lives here with a football logo on it. the school is a public school without open enrollment and is non select and about 12 miles away. they do for the kids they really want...

No whats sad is the different set of rules, then then gaslighting about those rules from the Catholic High people.

Only emotional bitches use the term gaslighting

Sounds like you realize you've lost this debate.

Lol. Whatever makes you feel better about having a different set of rules.

Show me how in 1.13.4 it says “except for Parkview”
Oh, you can’t, because Parkview literally had the same rules and opportunity regarding out of district feeder schools. Your anger appears to lie with Parkview for not using the same set of rules.

Then why did the rules change for Catholic and not Parkview?
If they were the same....
Im not explaining it for the 5th time. Go back and read.

Here is the link to the rule with the change. Can you see anywhere where it says “except for Parkview” or “only for Catholic” anywhere in the original rule or anywhere with the edit?
One thing Catholic taught very well was logic principles, maybe parkview didn’t, so I’ll help. What you see above is the exact same rule for both schools. What you are upset with is Parkview chose not to exercise the rule. That help?

Tell me he’s not a Chalmette Owl
It gets said on sportsline every now and then, but with us in the news recently, the split isn’t just about whom you can bring in, it’s also about whom you can keep out

You're an idiot bro. For the hundreth time, Parkview doesnt have feeder schools.
Lets pretend Parkview "exercises" the rule.
What are the feeder schools?
If the rule changed for Parkview and other together, how is the eligibility different this year at Parkview vs last year? Give me details. Who is not eligible at Parkview that wouldve been last year? None. Its the same.
How is eligibility different this year vs last year at Catholic?
Well, ALL freshmen from in the diocese are eligible last year.
Not this year.
So there has been a change at Catholic this year.
Not at Parkivew.
Try to keep up.
