Can somebody explain to me why the Karr players looked like giant-people playing against a high school team?

Because they’re getting the best players off of all the other Orleans Parish teams that use OneApp…

Like Warren Easton who used to be on Karr’s level but dropped to 0-13 in the Catholic League in two years

Like Booker T Washington who went from having a competitive team to 0-10 probably

Like Landry who went from 5A state champions to irrelevant…

Like McDonogh #35 who went from very competitive to losing to Karr 63-0

Carver’s fallen off

And not a public school but De La Salle has fallen off

The other teams in NOLA that have improved recently are Abramson, Cohen, and Douglass who all have something in common… they probably never had dudes Karr wanted in the first place

But to be fair St. Aug is getting their share of kids too…

Btw there won’t be any changes for the Catholic League. Holy Cross is playing up and Shaw isn’t

Karr is impressive. I hope that that there aren't any young men in their early 20s playing on that team. That wouldn't be right.

There has t been one of those in LA in a long time. But the schools that are losing kids are starting to point fingers.

In this day and age no one could hide obviously overage ringers like you could years ago… everything is too computerized and things can be checked anytime the LHSAA sees fit as part of the agreement to join

my guess is the charter organization is doing things with the college NIL agents to get kids there, but is that really cheating nowadays? If they weren’t I feel that’s something someone else would be doing. What’s stopping Warren Easton or 35 from doing what they’re doing?

The single biggest violation in the LHSAA and several of our neighboring states is players living in one place and claiming another residence. Coaches and former team mates know when someone does it, but there is a reluctance to turn them in, even when a school being sanctioned knows about it.

Winning champtionships draws people WE has not won one since integration and 35 never has.

a little disingenuous there I would say? Easton lost by 1 point in the Dome a few times recently…

championships attract players, also has WE recovered from the sanctions a few years back?- so NO, the powers that be a likely limiting their efforts.
