Slidell wins 36-28 in OT…our worst game in a long time

Our defense struggled giving up big plays all night, and when our offense had a big play, we either had illegal formation or ineligible man downfield.

Reminded me of the Neville game.

We have been playing poorly at times for a while now, it caught up with us tonight.

To have an offsides in OT and 12 men on field on XP in week 9 is bad

Gotta win next week…

Discipline just wasn’t there … and it wasn’t one penalty that sank us, it was the volume of them. We had a bunch and Slidell didn’t have one until midway through the 4th quarter.

Credit to Slidell hanging around and winning with their backup QB…

Mate why is sanamaws nickname "wildcats" but their field has a gator logo and word markings in the endzone? Also why are the field colours for Sanamaw black and gold but their kits baby blue?

Make it make sense.

My dude Mr. Beckwith called it a “flag festival” over the PA we’ll suspend him for two weeks without pay

Of course you know we don’t pay him anyway and he’ll be back in time for basketball season… probably our last home game of the year last night

I am watching the Zachary broadcast of the game, I cant tell you how much I love the announcers, and I appreciate the streams for these games. But dang that camera will give you tremors. I could do no better, or as good, but dang.

I assume it’s usually the schools A/V department running those things so I try not to judge too harshly but it does give you a headache after a while when they can’t find the ball or forget to move the frame on a big TD

Still a worlds ahead of when I played and the only camera was the ones posted up in the endzone and sideline for film that didn’t move an inch give it another decade and you’ll have some espn level field cams going on at that level

Yes, sometimes the students are operating cameras, and the rest of the production of the broadcasts. I know Ruston does that. Some are done by radio stations. Since that was my field, the advertising always interests me. It varies from ads by the schools production crews to national ads that media outlets run.

One night I was watching LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier's little brothers' Flower Mound Marcus team play on this YouTube account, and saw one of Baton Rouge attorney Gordon McKernan's ads that featured Garrett Nussmeier. I was watching in Ruston, LA on a North Texas YouTube page and got a Baton Rouge attorney's ad. Being an old advertising head, I thought it was really cool to get the ad featuring Garret during his younger brother Colton's game.

Early on the refs missed two clear as day pass interference calls on Evangel plus the blocked punt that they called down that should have been a touchdown for LCA. The officiating wasn't great on both sides.

Yes, but as you said, it is so enjoyable to be able to watch games you are interested in, not only that it is a huge advantage for folks like distant relatives or older grandparents to be able to watch their kids.

Pop gets popped at the 6 inch line going for the winning score with 28 seconds left in the game. Fumbles into the endzone and LCA recovers to win. Brutal way to lose.
Glad Jerit Roser concentrated on the LCA defenders instead of Pop.

Did Evangel have any timeouts left after the fumble? On the livestream it said they did but that could have been an error.

Did everyone see Dunham ran a play similar to the one OU ran vs. Auburn?
The team is kind of huddled in front of their bench. #7, the WR who catches the ball, runs away from the line of scrimmage, while his teammates line up. Then he runs back to the LOS and catches the ball. The announcers said he was 30 yards behind the LOS.
