ASH has been gutting Ruston with their RB's. Ruston must be missing Aidan Anding, Joshua Brantley, Zheric Hill and maybe Kyle Williams on defense.

Should have been Ruston ball . Don’t think it will matter ASH offense is having its way with the Bearcats.

I don’t understand why it should have been.

Kicking team can’t recover a block and regain possession.

People don’t understand that a lot of the rules in HS are different than college and the pros

Then they say the refs cheated.

and every skill player on O or D is an underclass man.

I think they have 6 Sr starters. Need to grow a bit more

Not what the Louisiana High School rules say. Look it up. Like I said ASH didn’t need the call they are hammering Ruston. Good game ASH

Their O line is really solid. They should make a run in the playoffs for sure.

I’m not sure of the HS rule, but yes, they can.

ETA: Looked up the LHSAA rules. I’m not sure where the touch happened, as I was listening on the radio. If the touch was behind the line of scrimmage, then the kicking team can recover the ball, but they must advance it enough to achieve a first down. If the touch is beyond the line of scrimmage, then it’s just like the Leon Lett play.
