yes it is but the name is wrong, It used to be mentorship steam, now it is helix mentorship , steam no longer part of name.
Looks like we were both right/wrong. It’s
Helix Mentorship STEAM Academy (HMSA) LINK
I looked it up. These kids have been outscored 288 to 28 this year. I feel for them, that’s tough.

Hard to have that many seniors in a 3A school but I get what you’re saying.
Coach Roark and staff have done a helluva job here and hopefully this years team can make a deep playoff run.

Holy shite.
I knew Jesuit plays the most challenging schedule in the state of Louisiana EVERY year
Meh.
The top 15 4A/5A programs will pretty much always have brutal schedules because no one will play them in non-district so they wind up playing each other.
Right now, according to geauxpreps, Jesuit has the seventh hardest schedule in 5A

Why does Jesuit do this to themselves????
Welcome to the Catholic League. Been around a while. Although they all have to play each other, Jesuit doesn't play cupcakes for their out of district play.
But Rummel, Holy Cross, John Curtis, Brother Martin and Jesuit all have to play each other.

was watching those kids on West Jeff practice as I walked in the stadium, and it looked like there was about 20 of them… I was thinking “is that their whole team? They might not make it to Chalmette in a few weeks” I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that was their freshmen team though
According to Johnny Marchese that was their freshmen team… then they went out and got their first win over East Jefferson Friday night…

So what's their excuse for playing a 3-4 Booker T Washington last night?
They're in the Catholic League, they should be use to playing a tough schedule.

That’s ridiculous.
Name one school thats played 3 of the Top 4 teams in the state, and 6 of the top 12.
I’ll wait.

Sounds like you're a plumbing parts salesman from Curtis or had to park on Severn when you went to high school.
Your mom secretly prayed you would get in. But you failed her.
Jesuit beat St Aug. And they won their homecoming.

John Curtis beats St. Aug 36-26. JT 1 win away from tying the all time win record, 2 from being all alone in first place. Brother Martin up next week followed by Karr for the regular season finale.
