Wow Central is not that good, I think its the uniforms, the gray jerseys are horrible looking. STM is very talented this year.

I dont like the gray jerseys but the biggest travesty is not having a wildcat on the gray helmets, let the Gay bears have the C on their helmet

at dotson for that one

ETA first blowout since 07 playoffs for Central, and first time theyve been shutout since Zachary in 07

The jersey turnover we have now is ridiculous

We already got rid of our white jerseys(which i loved) that we got bately three years ago. And we replaced the black uniform last year(much needed tho) from the year befote that. And the new maroon jerseys from last year are terrible and we all hated them but they kept those

And we practice in old game jerseys now which IMO looks a little tacky

Just got back from the Central-STM game. All I am going to say is the current coach is not the man for the job. This is two years in a row that the offense has looked horrible. The defense is good enough to keep them in games but the offense has to start moving the ball.

The game should have been 14-0. Central drove STM back 15 yards for an apparent 42+ FG. Somehow Central got a 15 yard penalty for unsportsman like conduct because a player made a gesture to the STM crowd. That made the FG shorter. Next drive after kickoff, Central punted the ball to the 15 yard line out of their own endzone. This was the worst game in regards to offense execution in the last 4 years.

Central will probably not make the playoffs this year. I can see them losing to Zachary, Denham and Scottlandville this year.

Thats more talent than anything. He doesnt do anything with the offense so you cant fault him for that anf the defense is always solid. They really just dont have the same type of players as they did when Sid was there so its a lot tougher to be a great team

However last years team and we were probably one of the least talented teams in 5a but we still pulled through and we won district

They will do no worst than 2nd in district and wont lose to all those three teams

Its an over reaction to call for the head coaches job after losing to a top ranked STM especially since this team is so young but Central has stupid small town politics and a couple of central "big wigs" dont like dotson so he may get shown the door undeservingly

What was up with the personal foul that wasnt a first down?

In high school personal fouls are not automatic first downs.

beat us in 1968 the only time we've been to the state semifinals

now HC before you begin talking shite you ain't been there since '67

but i wasn't expecting this to happen

it seems like every year we go into the HC game 2-0 and them 0-2, but it never seems to help us get the W

this year it's magnified because of how it's happening. Chalmette is firing on all cylinders with a dominating D-Line that closes mighty quick when they have pressure, LBs in the mold of their head coach that make sure tackles, and DBs that ballhawk anything in the air. Now that an ideal offensive gameplan has been developed, it's up to the Catholic League to try to stop it.

Holy Cross had o-line problems in the jamboree, lost a close one in week 1, and if they lose to us, they're set up for a truly disastrous season with 6, maybe 7 definite losses and 2 more that could be

He does have his work cut out for him. I'm not sure how good St. Michaels is though.
