Broadmoor team suspension... continues. Still out for week 3. WF loses a game unless they can find an opponent that is off this week.

Yeah I made a list of every team in the state with an open date except 1A. Only 5 that I could find.JC, Pearl River, Newman and a few smaller schools in the north shore/tangi area. I think Broadmoor forfeits the game as it stands. I would like for the kids to play a game but I’m sure it’s hard to pull that together last minute.

Newman was cancelled last week so they may want to.
After a team has a brawl or players get in fights there is some sportsmanship classes that must be taken by a certain date or well.... now u know.
kids deserve a game.

Yeah that’s my thing. You get at most 40 regular season varsity games in HS. More like lot 20 or less for typical HS football athletes. Hate to see one wiped out for something like this.

Bench clearing brawl the week before, so their game w Brusly last week was cancelled. My best guess is they may not have fulfilled requirements in time(sportsmanship classes and related paperwork.-

Got word WF will have no game this week. Will get a forfeit win and move to week 4 prep. Health wise this isn’t the worst thing for the team.

Ty for that. I figured officials would be a problem. We got Woodlawn next week so they can get ready for that. Try to grab a win against a 5A. May try to go catch the Zachary - Carencro game if one of my kids is interested.

yeah yall originally had Thursday game - every available official in NOLA and BR is scheduled for friday and many (even in BR for sat pm). tough break.
