Ehret wins by converting on 4th down.

Hahnville ran the QB out of the shotgun on 4th down

Sending congratulations to a college buddy of mine, Coach Blake Forsythe, who got his 1st win as a head coach as South Lafourche beats Thibodaux 38-28.

Farmerville 32 Calvary 25

Damn good game! If Farmerville can keep their QB healthy they can make some noise in the playoffs.

Pearl Pirates 14
Parkway 0

End of 1st

Pearl alum here. Wish Parkway had their QB healthy for this game.

Pearl is the #1 team in the state of MS 6A.

20 Pearl
14 Parkway

Parkway taking advantage of Pearl playing sloppy (fumbling inside the Parkway 10 yard line and a missed XP). Parkway is battling like beasts.

Pearl 27
Parkway 14

Pearl had a long kickoff return that setup a TD. This game turning into a track meet. Pearl is built on a stout D so this is a little surprising.

Pearl. 30
Parkway 14
Halftime

I gotta get in bed. This game started too late.

How much longer does Salt last at Hahnville? Obviously not producing like the boosters intended.

It's frustrating watching their offense and the defense isn't much better. The offense is terrible because of playcalling and scheme but the defense just completely lacks the athletes that the offense has. Some of those WRs being used as blockers would do well as DBs

just give him as long as it took at EJ... He won the title in year 6. Y'all are in year 4.

They also lost to a very formidable team that will go deep in the playoffs this year in 5-A.

Whoever wins 5-A this year will be because of their offenses as there is no dominant defensive team in the state in that classification this year.

Makes me sad not seeing any good defense being played.

let me expand on that... Bogalusa will drop to 2A in a few years if their trend continues (they were 4A not long ago and actually have two long ago titles in the highest classification). Dave Roberts, our former assistant, is building a program they can be proud of there, and they will have some great athletes for 2A non select... We scored 51 points, but offensively we were pretty meh until the 4th quarter when we just took over running the ball. We had two touchdowns on special teams in the 1st quarter.

We played most of the game tonight with 4 officials... One had to leave with chest pains and was taken to the hospital. Our star running back Hoorman might be hurt too, but we'll see

Can't remember a year like this in quite some time. Probably all the way back to 1993.

And how about destrehan getting physically dominated by St Charles Catholic..
