Obama taught our nation how to turn everything into a racial division issue.

Yes. White people don’t like it as much as black people

It seems like there are a lot of kids moving between the private schools in BR to be able to play sports. Either to play on a better team or, conversely, to have a better opportunity to get playing time. What’s the current rule for transfer eligibility for private schools - like Dunham, UHigh, SJA, and Catholic? If the private schools you go to is in the same attendance zone at the public school you would go to, but for private school, you are immediately eligible? And for the Catholic schools like St Michael’s, Catholic and SJA - do the public school attendance zones matter, or is it just enough for you have been a student at one of their feeder schools? Or does the feeder school have to be in the public school attendance zone too?

Go ahead and do the same for junior high....this is absolutely ridiculous!
This is ruining the minds of young people.....teaching them that the grass is always greener.....and it is not! Go where things are easy....

I have seen really good kids/athletes get stuck on the bench for coach's favorites. If you deny this, you are fooling yourself. Recently heard about a kid go from sitting on the bench to now being on the field because a college noticed this kid in summer and wanted to know when he was going to be playing so they could come watch him. Now all of a sudden he went from riding the pine to being on the field. Why is it the HC for the high school team not able to recognize the talent. Yes, this happened at a private school.

Not just "coach's favorites," you see it if a parent is donating a lot to the school/program too. Daddy bought a new scoreboard, suddenly Jr. is starting.

what the frick is the difference between HS and college? if you hate a college, you leave. same with your job
its no different. Should Joey B not been allowed to transfer after he got beat out? according to you, he should have stayed and stuck it out.
you dont own a kid because he happens to live in your HS district. You dont own his athletic ability
should be 100% school choice, period.
if you want kids to go to your school....provide better academics, better coaching, better facilities.

He graduated before leaving. Bit different. You have kids leaving school A to go to school B for football then moving back to school A for baseball without blinking an eye. I’m all for school choice and kid’s being able to play. I can see someone having an issue with that though.

No you dont but his immediate eligibility is at the school he attends and whose zone he is in - in most state associations
