I picked Rummel over Ouachita for one reason.., Ouachita always finds a way to lose in the playoffs....

and truth be told my biggest beef with the catholic league...is their involvement with the change in play up rules.... they jumped on the band wagon to help push that through.. the classes below 4A did not want it.. but the catholic league was tired of evangel and feared curtis wanting in their district....so.. they piled on and made it happen.. then along came katrina and brutally disrupted enrollement at 3 catholic schools.....then the catholic league was no more... then they wanted play up.. but only if it didn't affect them... so pawn of Curtis and ECA on smaller schools... if any schools have the numbers, depth and resources to deal with ECA and JC it is 5A... JC and ECA belong in 3a,2a or even 1A about like LSU belongs in CUSA... and yeah a 4A principal got that ball rolling.... but he needed 5A principals to push it through... and last years vote was simply 3A vs everyone else when the two "bad guys" could be dumped into one class...

you say that, but the Catholic League is 6 schools in a state of 280+ football and 380+ all sports...

sure they're the leading schools in the biggest metro area, but when it comes to LHSAA voting Central-Jonesville, Hope Academy, Jehovah-Jireh, Johnson Bayou, New Living Word, and the School for the Visually Impaired (130 combined students) have the same voting power as their 8,290 combined students.

One of those doesn't belong. When we got pushed into 3A and Curtis and ECA opted to play up (as far as the chicken suit wearing principals in 4A allowed), Calvary opted to stay in 2A and see how many titles they could rack up when all the big boys left.

We walked from one end zone to the other arm in arm. And Juluke n coaches were on the field we walked through him. Juluke didn't like it. And he walked all the way to the other side of the field and they went to scrapping
