No. He was an o lineman back in 94 when we got beat in the Championship game. Actually that is the main reason it surprises me they throw as much as they do. Not Calvary type throwing but they have some good WR's. He was just a hard nosed lineman. I want to say he had his knee operated on the Monday before the semi finals and he was at practice a day later. Tough SOB and a good guy.

Yeah.. It'd be nice to see a matchup between teams that aren't familiar to playing in the dome

The injustice is not having to travel next week. Evangel is a higher seed. The injustice was having to travel tonight when we were the higher seed, AFTER having to travel up here last year when they were the higher seed. It's screwed up, and it isn't easy having to spend 5 hours on the bus, eat at the Golden Corral and then play a good team in their house.

I completely agree. Traveling next week makes sense. Traveling tonight did not.

At the In-laws in SoMiss. Great 40 pages of game tracking I just read threw. Louisiana high school football is one of a kind! Good battles ahead in 5A and 4A.

I agree with you tiger authority....

The system is better than it used to be but not perfect...

A team from Nola can make it to the finals w out leaving the city but other teams can easily have back to back trips there from across the state.,,

McDonough 35 was impressive tonight, unbelievable speed. Coaching staff did a good job keeping the players in the game and not folding their tents. Lack of a kicking game might hurt them next week. #2 and #25 have excellent speed and ability to break tackles. Their QB was also outstanding

Deal with it. Nobody is going to hand you a state title. It must be won, and that sometimes takes going to someone else's place. Last I checked football fields throughout the state are the same dimensions.

Injustice? Come on. You are right though, they should have let y'all play at home because y'all went up there LAST YEAR. Quit whining

Mandeville continues to prove people wrong. Great coaching, great D, great QB. Should be a good game vs the raiders.. I'm sure Mandy will have "no chance"

I think it is all some new addition to the coaching staff this year. I heard it was a former OL who played a a few years back. Rumor has it that he is really the driving force behind the Mandeville success.
