hard to tell if his hand wasn't between ball and ground. only two guys have any call on that back judge and side judge - side judge was still(which is a plus through the action) If he couldn't see bobble - can't make a call on it. Same for back judge no telling if he or she had a clear view of it. without replay have to go with what the covering official(s) saw or didn't see, I'm not a fan of making a decision from an angle that the covering officials did not have. Also I have said this many times and elevated view is always different from field level - and we see it in real time not slo mo

Thanks, watching the game live I was looking for his feet like probably everyone else was. As much as replay slows down college and pro games it’s plays like this where it really matters. Tough call at full speed on the field for sure.

West Monroe at Central should be a good one…the Wildcats have the horses on defense, not sure how they match up offensively with WM

Playoff crews are NEVER from the association that regularly works either school's games. The associations are assigned by LHSAA but the crew is assigned by the local association.

I’m not saying it was a purposeful bad call. Just saying there ain’t no way that dude caught the ball

and if the covering official(s) don't see ball come out - they can't say incomplete.

Hearing a lil' Pay back could be in order from 8 years ago....

Central is a Different Animal this time around....
D-End DK Mays (6'-5" 250 / Houston commit)
and bro LB KD Mays 6'-0 205 are a nasty 1-2 punch.
CB Blaysen Stoken has 6 INT's including "2 Pick Sixes"!

QB (Nicholls commit) Firmin (battled shoulder injury/wreck) and his WRs( one also in wreck K Thomas) starting to click.....
Starting RB Manny Williams (wreck) has missed entire season may come back in Semi's if they advance.
...game changer has been new RB Shane Brown now eligible;
Soph. Marvin Joesph also in the mix.

How is WM Defense??

Sushi, how far away (if ever) do you think we are from a replay system in LHSAA, given there is so much streaming these days? I’m not sure the streaming is good enough for replay now but it gets better each year.

Will never happen

You need more camera angles and HS teams can’t afford to man all them nor should they want to

They use it in dome. Until it can be everywhere it’s really not feasible. I mean some venues struggle with sound systems , working game clocks, play clocks etc.

I’d rather them all have working light detectors.

Of course as technology changes and evolves it gets cheaper.

God I hope never. Can you imagine the stoppage every time they make a bad call. The games would be 5 hrs, 6 if you have the Alexandria officials

I would welcome it for championships and playoffs for sure, shite calls end seasons. It's economically not feasible though.

Dome games have stoppages on all scoring and turnovers. Flows pretty good, but.... it wouldn't always be like that.

How is the visitor seating? Stands look small. Can you bring chairs or stand around the fence ?
