ZHS beginning to pull away and DS up by two scores. For reference Zachary beat Denham 62-20 at Denham a few months ago.

Damn! I was really hoping Shreve was gonna keep it respectable at least lol. They make it to the 2nd round for the first time in forever and are on pace to lose 100-0. Hey, we're still the last public school in Shreveport to win state. And we won it in the highest classification! It was 1973!

Catholic at WM 22 years ago wasn't 'just any old playoff game to be forgotten by the passage of a little time.
Catholic QB Major Applewhite and RB Travis Minor against WM fullback Tommy Banks-
Friend from BR brought principal and another priest to my house in WM for pre- game cocktails and apps. and offered apologies for the host's teams impending loss.
Travis Minor took opening kickoff to the house. All WM after that. Friend called on their drive back to BR and said Don Shows should be charged with child abuse for making Tommy Banks carry the ball 36 times in a high school game.

I was on the Catholic sideline for that one and it was a hell of a game.
