Man if I’m on that Lake Arthur sideline watching that, why wouldn’t I run into there and start whooping arse? Did those kids and coaches think that they were gonna get a forfeit win by just staying there? I bet it’s a double forfeit and both teams are done for the year

Yes the poli board thinks I’m trash

Right but if the team gets dq’ed anyway and they’re just standing there… maybe they were thinking there would be football after that

You’re always taught to stay on the sideline when there’s an incident. There’s no doubt they thought as long as they stay on the sideline they wouldn’t have to forfeit. Unfortunately they probably still will.

This is a team that can look like a contender one week and lay a massive egg the next. I wouldn’t book my hotel in NOLA just yet.

LHSAA listed Ferriday as straight up advancing 30-7

Yeah I noticed that too. There’s no way the LHSAA doesn’t come out with a statement today on it. They can’t not say anything about it.

Alright watching that LA may have a chance to stay in. You have to suspend the involved parties but I’m not sure you can punish the whole team when they did what they were supposed to do. This’ll be interesting to see play out.

That’s why I think LA team staying on the sideline will benefit them in the long run. The whole ferriday team ended up spreading onto the field. That’s an automatic DQ which brings atleast a next game suspension.

There will be a 13 person march for justice and a fire set if they dq Ferriday.

Judging by the Facebook comments, you'd be right. It’s almost like a normal Friday night in ferriday.

I think the score reporting system does that automatically. That by no means means it's a done deal, The home team reports the score, not that several losing home teams have not reported their scores yet. and now the Ferriday LA game says pending.

because the rule is very clear and it could affect their school and themselves in other sports. This stuff is happening at an increasing rate nationwide and the penalties keep getting more severe - that's why.

I’d say suspend the LA player that threw the punch and all of Ferriday. LA Tigers advance.

Nothing matters anymore. Higher seed hosts throughout the playoffs no matter what.

LHSAA finally saw the light on this. When I was at Iowa a few years back and we were #1 seed, we still had to travel to Leesville in the quarterfinals.

If LA gets to advance any players that engaged in fight will likely be suspended. Several teams have deleted fights from hudl or stopped filming when this stuff happens.

The people that think any of what happened is acceptable is a sad commentary on our society.

If Ferriday is allowed to advance, then LHSAA can no longer claim concern for sportsmanship and player safety. Period.
