No, they don't.
But to put it another way, if LSU could only use Louisiana high school student athletes, but the rest of the SEC could recruit from all over the country, would that truly be equitable?

I don't know, are those kids going to LSU for free while having to pay to go to the rest of the SEC schools?

You are dense man. Public schools are free (well, you know what I mean) and MANY MANY people take advantage of that and so many good athletes come from public schools. Why won't you admit this?

Yes, the public schools have the most elite talent, and also have the most schools. It roughly breaks down to be even across public and private. Are you familiar with math?

What does it matter? The number of students are relatively the same

It makes a huge difference. If I have 500 hand picked football players and you have 500 random students, 400 of which will never play any sport in their life, you have a huge advantage. When Evangel has 400 students K-12 and 100 are varsity football players from all over Shreveport/Bossier/East Texas/South Arkansas, there's a problem.

The rules for public schools state that you have to dance with the kids living in your district. That is the rule for all public schools. Those that are caught playing kids from outside their district are reprimanded.
Is this true or not?
It doesn't matter if he paid or is on scholarship, he doesn't live in the district, so kids that follow LHSAA rules should play against kids that follow the same rules.
What's dense about that?

Okay, dispute this one fact for me: The public schools produce at least as much talent as the private schools. This is a fact, not disputable. It is corroborated by the LHSAA. It is already fair!

So the only kids that should be eligble at UHigh are kids that live in McKinley's attendance zone?

And the only kids that should be elible at Teurlings are the kids that live in Northside's attendance zone?

What about Catholic High or Jesuit or Brother Martin.

You seem to have a lot of butthurt about people wanting a better education for their kids and sacrificing to send them to private school. Why should they be punished for that?

Fair?
Why are not following my train if thought?
Private schools recruit vs. Public schools can't recruit

Do you see the difference?

Im probably going to walk on at ulm.

I ran last night actually. Finished second in the 1600 with a 4:49 and first in the 3200 with a 10:38. Some how managed to walk away with a mvp trophy as well.

They aren't being punished, they are simply competing against schools that follow the same criteria as they do.
Why is this so hard to comprehend?

I don't have any actual numbers but I would bet the private school programs produce more D1 level talent if you base it on D1 player per total football players

What's funny is if the private schools split and don't have to deal with the LHSAA and can create their own rules, so many of the precious public school athletes will end up at private schools on scholarship. The LHSAA is currently keeping that from happening, but with no LHSAA, no need to follow recruiting rules. Public schools are digging their own grave.
