I like Bell City in Class B, but Fairview is Fairview.

Hebert, Herpin and Guillory were a force last night for BCHS.

I had heard they could light it up, but yesterday was the first time I got to see them play. Man they're fun. Herpin is ridiculous. They lose one senior this year too so they'll be back.

And yeah. Coach Jinks is the GOAT for a reason. He'll figure something out. It may be first to 100 wins on Friday

That's just the public school championships. Texas public and privates have separate associations.

Oakdale beat Doyle 57-41 tonight. Absolutely crushed them on the boards.

They'll face Oak Grove Saturday.

Caroline Bradley had 27 pts/25 rebs on Tuesday for OG. That game should be a lot of fun.

I like Oakdale in D3. The way they blew out Alexandria really stood out. Had a lot tougher semifinal test in Doyle than OG had.

If OG doesn't win this year, they should be in position again to do it in the future for a few years.

I'm in Hammond. Will be reporting on the four D1 games.

Yesterday pretty much did me in for the week for travel purposes.

It was probably too ambitious to try and do live updates on four straight games, but I'm glad I did.

Had to stop off at McDonald's off I-12 and walk around to wake myself up on the way home. I don't even know exactly where I was. The GPS took me all around Essen to avoid some construction leaving there.

Caroline Bradley... Oak Grove sophomore & apparent LSU target... had 38 points, 22 rebounds, & 6 blocks

But they lost when she fouled out & her teammates couldn't score

Oakdale won 48-43

And it's not for lack of good looks... a number of missed lay-ups right at the rim

But 1 of her teammates did step up with a big 3 to tie the score with like 2 minutes left
