He never coached a game there. Middleton took job at some small college in Arkansas (SAU I think), Cedar Creek hire Slinger Jr and then Middleton backed out shortly after and Cedar Creek gave the job back to him

This is correct, and then Middleton left again after that year. Cedar Creek isnt serious about football. KJ Malone is coaching at CC now. I hope he can have some success there.

Saw Brantleys final stat line for Ruston was like 194 passing and 134 rushing with 3 tds...young man grew up a lot this year

Most of the talent on Ruston offense is coming back next year. They are losing some big name defensive players but they seem to always replace them pretty well
