So, a coach hired into the biggest job of his career with big expectations to win now is gonna start the subpar player at quarterback because of nepotism?? That’s straight up retarded. The head coach’s job is to win. Win. Win… They don’t give a shite about none of you parents feelings. They want to…. Win. Parents been whining about this since the ball was invented. Lil Johnny is better I promise, the coach is out to get him!!

I trust their judgement on who starts all day any day over random fans and parents.

When in reality -- he's an average HS QB -- with a TON of talent around him to work with.

you would think that if they were really recruiting, that they wouldn't have got beaten out for Ricky Collins

or for that matter, the dude from Madison Prep

it's like they're trying to create a storyline --- "Catholic sophomore phenom QB wins back to back state titles"

Help me understand why you’re talking shite about a 15 year old in two posts. Nepotism?? GTFO. Beale showed how talented he is last year when he stepped in for an injured senior QB and took over. Simply, we don’t win the title last year without him. No one on the team could do what he did. Not even close actually.

Towards the end of this season the team ran out of gas. Also seemed like the OC’s creative mind ran out of gas too. Tough to watch but the team got it done. 4x state champs.

Well. He’s clearly better than the senior backup and has way more reps than #9 bc his main focus is baseball

The senior is an ok athlete but isn’t good enough plain and simple

Is what it is. Catholic is 100% against the split playoffs. But its people from schools like st amant who created and are for the split that are the first to make comments like that when Catholic wins their division.

They did this. Now Catholic is winning state championships and taking more of their kids because of it. Thanks.

But they got the W, so what's it to you?
Very proud of my cousin in his first year as the head coach of Catholic.
Samson will grow in the off season and hopefully gain that killer instinct and be unstoppable next year.
Hate all you want but Catholic is State Champs!

I’m not for or against either of the teams, but Catholic’s coaches sucked last night and that’s not debatable. Their QB was average at best and Sampson really didn’t show any killer instinct to justify his ranking.

Jesuit had one dude in their entire offense and almost beat CHS.

And yet they sit at home today as State Champs while you continue to piss and moan on a message board.

It’s like you don’t want to give Norman Booker of Many High School and Jane Griffin of Winnfield High School their due. What do you have to hide?

nothing but if they wouldn't have crammed JC and ECA down their throats, they never would have pushed for the split.

and the 7-8 schools that did that get off the hook and stay in the dark.

Simoneaux is my 1st cousin, so lets not get into "I know more than you", OK?
Samson needed to have the ball thrown at him 1000 times this season to toughen him up. He has every skill needed, except the will to outwork his defender. I have seen David do much more with kids with 1/4 of Samson's talent.
We all know coaching comes with assholes like you who think they know the inside scoop and can do a better job than the current staff.

Can you elaborate with some details ?

Are you saying it was not Many and Winnfield as the leaders of this ?
