Means they’re handing out GEDs instead of HS Diplomas. At least it did when Evangel wasn’t accredited.

Why would any parent send their non-athlete child to a school that did that?

Also are not an accredited school which should show what they really care about.

When did this happen? Where does one find this information? Does a kid qualify for Tops from a non accredited school? They certainly were accredited when my kids started there and my son has TOPS.

I’m thinking sure you’re full of crap and I’m guessing butthurt from losing but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt if you can point me to the place I can verify accreditation.

It says it on the schools homepage

That’s not what’s happening at LCA. My son had full ride academic scholarship offers from every school he applied to except LSU. Also got the top TOPS award. Of course he chose LSU. I wouldn’t think that would happen with a GED.

Also, the GED process requires you pass a test to receive your GED. My son’s diploma required no such thing.

PJ, wtf are you talking about?

ETA - CHSNI lost 49-0 to ND earlier this year. The fact it's 21-7 is a small miracle.

Well I am watching the game and there is NO fire or emotion coming from NI... The QB is the only weapon they have... No spirit ... Look at the sidelines... They look lost and just glad to be there.............. ND is playing with passion....

, ND is just much, much better. The fact that CHSNI found a way to thoroughly beat ND last year in the state championship is one of the greatest upsets in LA high school football.

ND vs CHSNI scores the last 4 meetings:

37-0 ND regular season 2017
33-16 CHSNI state championship 2017
49-0 ND regular season 2018
21-7 ND 2018 state championship so far

So you read that as they are not accredited? I read it just the opposite.

I believe they are. My understanding tandimg is that a private school gets state approval for their curriculum and a recognized third party to accredit them. That is the case for LCA. I know their curriculum qualifies a graduate for TOPS.

High school football is weird man. These kids won their first state crown lastnyewr in like 40 years. As far as they're concerned, they're playing with house money.

Think the offense is relatively young though, and Indest is a crazy good coach, so they'll continue to be hell for anyone not named ND.

They are approved, they are not accredited.

Approved schools are eligible for TOPS
