Suprised Thibodaux made it that far. They didn't have all that great of a team this year. But they made it to the top 28 so there's that.

Byrd got knocked out before they played them. The only decent team they played in the post-season was Dutchtown, and I don't even think they even won a playoff game in the history of the school before this year.

Thibodaux lost to DJ Augustin and Brother Martin in the 2005 finals.

LINK

They also lost in the quarters several years ago to a great St. Aug team in a matchup of future NBA players Kerry Kittles against Mark Davis of Thibodaux.

Technically yes because that is where I was born. And since you know him, you know our whole family is from there. But we moved when I was 5, so I never really lived there so to speak.

Gotcha, his sister is still a teacher here and I work at the same facility with his dad. Glad to see the success he is having this year. Does he still have aspirations to get back in the college game?

I have no idea. I would think he's pretty happy where he is. But who knows.

to a fellow coleman. Been spending the morning trying to figure out which family member you are.

Anyway, any scouting report on Scot.? Saw Micah at the EA game and was thoroughly impressed by his team. Cohen was unbelievable. First play, backdoor screen, cohen ran baseline and caught an alleyoop for a score. Hit 3 3s after that. Adam told me before the game that Cohen had a 39' vertical and I wouldnt be surprised if it were more. Overall, very disciplined team with great athletes.

It has the potential to be a great championship game. Both teams are really good. REALLY GOOD. Not alot of people are talking about NCHS really, and seeing them last night, I don't see how. They are going to give Scotlandville matchup problems down low.

Good to hear. NCHS had two good Fs down low. Austin Guy and the giant soph #32.

It amazing how good and how young NCHS is. Micah will have a great team for a while. Im already getting nervous for the game. About 90% sure i'll be there.
