If you don't think Liberty plays disciplined basketball, I don't know what you're watching.

Opposing coaches marvel about their defensive acumen.

I was at a Scotlandville game last year. I like them, too. Wish 2025 PG Jamal Drewery would have stayed.

Exactly.. Scotlandville has been a good program for years.. Sample built the program and Noah is trying to keep it going.. unfortunately due to location and facilities they are now losing "recruits" they would once get to Liberty... Also Madison Prep is a well run program with a good leader.

Not questioning their skills on the court. They are good. And yes they put a ton of pressure on the opposing teams offense.

Anyone have a "Cinderella" out there they know of that can maybe steal a couple of wins?

D1 select
No. 10 Rummel is coming off a big win over Hamilton Christian in LC. Should be a barnburner at No. 7 Curtis, which is the Raiders' last loss. Since that 62-55 game, Rummel has wins over Holy Cross, Jesuit (is Lapeze available for the playoffs? they're a different team with him) and a SWLA road trip where they blew out Iowa and Hamilton Christian.

No. 12 Captain Shreve, if they get by No. 21 Carencro, could have a shot vs. No. 5 ASH, which has a ton of talent but can disappear offensively. That's what happened in the second half of their loss to St. Michael in Lafayette earlier.

No. 15 Scotlandville could get a 4-5A rematch vs. No. 2 Catholic BR in the second round.

I'm thinking of writing an article with some predictions tomorrow.

Hearing Liberty and Scotlandville head coaches are suspended for at least part of the playoffs due to their actions last week

That is correct. It's a shame as much as Liberty has won, their coaches, players and even fans has been part of brawls the last few years. It's unbecoming of a program to act in such a manner.

The culture of that program is terrible.

I agree

.the coaches at best let that happen right in front of them..at worst instructed them to do it..

I wouldn't let my kids play at that program for sure.

What did Scotlandville do? I haven’t heard of any thing with them this year?

Both coaches, Liberty and Scotlandville got into a shoving match that almost became a brawl in their game. Both are suspended for portions of the playoffs.

This is what we need.

Love the insight.

Look for E.D.White (21) to take down (12) LB Landry Friday night. Winner plays @Madison Prep, but both teams met in the 2nd Round last season with EDW having the lead most of that game only to cough it up late and fall.

Thanks. Should have a link coming today.

What's the basis for EDW over Landry? I saw Vandy beat EDW by a bunch.

E.D. White is not good this year. Lost to Chalmette.

Was the shoving match between Liberty and Scottlandville or they were each involved with shoving matches with other schools?

Liberty beat Scotlandville 78-42 recently.

Scotlandville beat Central in OT in the final game of the regular season.

The shoving match occurred between the 2 coaches in a matchup between the schools. Liberty vs. Scotlandville.

Plus knowing Landry, if they’re a 12 seed, they might have the talent of a top 5 team
