the tinker toy look makes the stadium look cheap

so the only criticism is how it looks from the outside? why is that important?

You don't have to be frank Lloyd Wright to draw that conclusion.

It's not important as long as you don't care that your stadium looks like shite. Which is clear you don't.

it doesn't have anything to do with the function of the stadium doing what it was designed to do

Funny I thought you trying to prove his opinion was meaningless because he's never built a 1.2 billion stadium was ignorant. To each his own.

These are the same people that bitch about "exposed beams" at Alex Box or a random pvc pipe. There is literally no pleasing them and they are incapable of understanding a thought process that doesn't conform to their old fashioned views on what the exterior of a stadium should look like.

FWIW, I didn't care about the exposed beams at the box. And the shite pipe just needed to be painted.

But neither of those cost $1.25B...sooooooo

What basis does he have for said opinion. Not liking the exterior of the stadium and thus shitting on it like many of you have done may be just shallow but saying you should have gotten more for the money when you have no idea what building an NFL stadium entails is pretty much the definition of ignorance.

It's the Bay Area bro. It really does cost that much. Jerry's World would run $3 bil there.

Dude he's way too tolerant a guy to make such statements.

I'm personally pissed at myself for making such an asinine comment. I mean the thing has wifi!!!! fricking wifi!! Like Barnes and Noble type shite!

Crazy to think that a stadium costing a billion and a quarter should have a bit more substance to it for the price instead of focusing on bullshite tech capabilities that will likely be available on the next generation or two of smartphones.

I hate it that you are a Niners fan. It's tough enough cheering for them and living in the south. Having a douchnozzle like you "representing" the 9er fans here sucks. How did you become a Niners fan? You ever lived out there? Maybe start liking the cowboys....that seems a better match for your "personality".

Bathrooms that don't resemble the current South Upper (soon to be middle) at Tiger Stadium.

Well considering Minnesota is also building a shiny new toy that will be several years newer than Lincoln log field with a retractable roof and equivalent capacity for a guaranteed cost of under 800 M there seems to be something to at least base an opinion on as opposed to blind homerism. But they'll probably only have 6g Internet capability when they open of course.
