Does not compute.
286 + 144 = 430
430 x 0.665 = 285.95

Wait that’s how you personally calculate that???
That explains so much about you.

Yeah it sucks how the coaches/schools/conferences/ncaa kept getting more and more greedy to the point it just became too too glaringly obvious how much money they were making.
CFBs new era opened Pandora's box, destroying it. Enjoy the new era all you want, but thinkng like it's for the better, is foolish.

My favorite Corso memory, out of many, was when his Indiana's team, a heavy & long time under dog to either Michigan or Ohio St. was leading at halftime. He took his team out to midfield & had a team picture taken with the scoreboard showing Indiana was winning.

No. I dumbed it down for the person who said it did not compute

The great thing about it is that it wasn’t even halftime. IU scored early to lead Ohio State 7-6. Corso called a timeout and had his team pose for a picture in front of the scoreboard. That picture was on the cover of Indiana's 1977 recruiting brochure. Ohio State won the game 47-7.

Yep. I almost got teary eyed. He was a staple for my 90’s youth, as I was obsessed with CFB as a whole. I remember watching gameday when he made the first headgear pick.
A lot of people associate Lee Corso with Herbstreit, but I remember watching him with Craig James. Lee Corso mid 90s till 2010 was peak college Gameday. My first time noticing coach was him predicting Florida over Nebraska because of the playing surface “grass, grass, grass”. Even though he was wrong, he had this charisma energy that made me keep watching him and rooting for him with his future picks. Having Lee Corso in CFB really brought entertainment, fun, and life to the game, and that made waking up 7pm each Saturday something to look forward to.

I watched the 30 for 30 Corso special today. I was in tears at the end. They did a really good job with telling his story. It was long past time, in my opinion, for him to retire. But he's to be thanked for what he did for the sport and the excitement he brought to so many people on Saturday mornings.

Remember when they would come to lsu and the goal was always to make it to the headgear pick. LSU Georgia 03 was epic.

Watched that live. Was like “did he just say what I think he said?” Saw Herbies reaction. Thought “yep, he did.”
