It’s like when Michael Jordan was still playing in the early 2000s and was clearly way past his peak and had no business playing.
being past their peaks and having no business playing are two different things. Lebron is still a good NBA starter. Jordan wasn't quite as good in his late 30s as Lebron is now but they were both still good NBA players at their old age even if they were not what they once were.

the most average player in the league put up 83 points. No one takes this league serious anymore.

Yes he is capable of putting up good games still but don't pretend there hasn't been a drop off. Stats can be deceiving, the Lakers are clearly better without him most nights and the numbers clearly show that. I honestly believe their only chance at a title run this year however small is if he misses most of the playoffs. If he is healthy they have to play him and they simply aren't consistently good with him. What he is doing is super impressive for his age but you know at his current level if he was the best player on his team they would be about like the pelicans and if he was a clear 2nd best they would be fighting for a spot in the play in.

Yep, LeBron puts up great numbers but they are empty stats. The Lakers have no shot of going anywhere with LeBron, Reaves, and Luka all being terrible defenders. If you were to pull LeBron from the lineup, and add a 3&D wing, they would actually be better and have a chance with Luka carrying them.

You are right and you aren't saying anything that this season doesn't clearly show. Fan boys don't like it but it is the reality.

I honestly feel like if LeBron just kept his mouth shut he’d probably be almost universally liked. Great player, family guy, just can’t shut the frick up

At 40 years old, Michael Jordan's highest-scoring game was a remarkable 43-point performance for the Washington Wizards against the New Jersey Nets on February 21, 2003. He became the first 40-year-old in NBA history to score 40 or more points, shooting 18-of-30 from the field in an 89-86 win.
Top Scoring Games at Age 40+ (2002-03 Season):
43 Points: Feb 21, 2003 vs. NJ Nets
35 Points: Mar 8, 2003 vs. CHI Bulls
31 Points: Feb 1, 2003 vs. LAC Clippers
30 Points: Feb 12, 2003 vs. LAC Clippers
Michael Jordan averaged approximately 20.0 to 22.4 points per game
during his age-40 season (2002–03) with the Washington Wizards. He played all 82 games at age 39-40, becoming the only 40-year-old in NBA history to average over 20 points per game, including a 43-point performance

The most average player in the league playing in the Olympics for the US twice is quite impressive

Jordan’s bum arse shot over 23 times per game to get those 20 ppg
Lebron has NEVER taken that many shots per game in a season.
Jordan’s hype is so fake

Saw a hilarious video of so many of LeBron's points this season coming from him not getting back on defense, and just hanging around the other team's basket for a down court pass and layup.
And his flopping is worse than ever. Never seen an NBA player roll around on the floor like he does. Dude needs to hang it up.

Only 1 40 pt game at 40? That’s cute

You are a fricking idiot. Looks to me like one was an iron man who averaged just about the same amount of points at 40 playing ALL the games available to play, and one is a load managing loser of more finals than he won. He’s not committed, he’s not clutch, and he flips like a bitch. The comparisons aren’t even that close.
You are a bitch arse youngin who simply doesn’t know much. It’s ok.

You mind pointing out the first page book readers 40 point games this season? Can’t seem to find any

You sound just like a sky screaming Kamala voting dork.
Which isn’t surprising, as Jordan fans have been brainwashed by the media the same way Harris voters are.
