Was actually solid in college while Bronny was junk.
For context - LSU Guard Mike Williams the third had better stats than Bronny as a freshman last year and could not even see the court for 10 games on a bad LSU team this year.
Yet, he deserved getting picked 55th more than Bronny and honestly everyone probably agrees, even the Lakers brass. But they did it to enable Bron-Bron - we all know this.

Are you trying to say that the Lakers are simply catering to the greatest player in the history of sports? Say it ain't so.

Tell me which ones...
In fact tell me of the players picked in the 2nd round which one has done better than Bronny in the G-League.
BTW for you idiots late 2nd round picks are G-League developmental players. They aren't expected to make an immediate impact.

He was All Big Ten and Big Ten ROY as a freshman on a 23-12 tourney squad.
Bronny was garbage on a garbage USC squad.
Another dumb arse take.
As if how you play in college determines how good a pro you will be.

Oh it be so, as you well know.....so Stephen A is just saying what everyone else knows to be true but won't say. It's a joke but honestly happens all the time IRL - owner hires son or nephew over more qualified person.

Are you saying college performance is totally useless and irrelevant? Because it seems like you are.

Absolutely no surprise you’re on the wrong side of this one

It's not a joke, just very common, and for many other reasons than nepotism. Durant goes to Brooklyn because he likes their grit. Then gets the same head coach fired. Now that same head coach is at Cleveland with the best record in the NBA. The Nets then went belly up and Durant, Irving, and Hardin were no more. The best players are calling the shots in many different circumstances.
Years ago, Magic Johnson got his coach fired only a year after demanding the Lakers extend his contract. It took a year for Magic Johnson to go from "If you don't keep Westhead, I'll go wherever he's coaching" to "It's me or him."
Bronny seems kinda tame by comparison when you think about it.

I didn’t have much respect for SAS before this but definitely none afterwards. He pretty much kissed the ring with that limp wrist response. He’s worried he won’t be invited to the parties anymore.

I agree it's common, but it definitely is a joke....at least to me it is.

Lebron is literally stunting his son growth. Not just as a pro athlete but as a man.
Bronny will be forever get picked on now as long as his is in the league.
Especially when LeBron isn’t on his team. Dudes every practice and game are going say shite about his daddy fighting his battles.

His kid has not earned his way into the league. Only there because of his old man, and not on merit. Freaking joke.
He is much better than the picks selected after him. Bronny is cooking in the G League with 21 ppg, 5 rpg, 5 apg. Those other guys are all averaging single digits.

Thats not including the tip off tournament but relatively impressive.
However he's averaging 17 FGAs and 8 3 point attempts a game. Along with 3 turnovers. Also doesn't have to deal with the g league travel etc. To put it into perspective. McClung is averaging 24 on the same number of shots and it's playing 1 fewer min per game
Basically they're letting him chuck. Although I guess if he's getting his shot off good for him.
