They aren't Miami fans. They are LBJ deep-throaters. They'd be telling you how amazing the Toronto Raptors are if he played in Toronto.

Kind of my point

How many games did Mike Brown win with LeBron? He's considered incompetent. Why does Spoelstra get the benefit of the doubt due to number of wins?

lol both of you twos ignorance toward Spo's ability is amusing.
Go look at the '09 and '10 Heat rosters. He coached both of them to the playoffs. Those teams played Michael Beasley 2000+ minutes! He's created a dynamic offensive scheme this season that plenty of people with actual knowledge of the NBA are impressed with.
He's an exceptional coach, and thought of as such by people that matter. But I'm sure you're right. Anyone could do his job.

If anybody can win with the Heat's roster, then what does that say about Scott Brooks? He has as much talent as the Heat does.
No he doesn't. 2 stars < 3 stars. Not to mention the stacked bench the Heat have.

Chris Bosh is not a "star" right now.

Right. Spo is overrated because he coaches a team full of All Stars, so he would win regardless.
The stars ultimately run the plays they want to run. Kenny Smith recently said Rudy would go over the game plan and after he did, Hakeem would pull him aside and said ignore what he said. Do what I tell you. Barkley did the same thing as a player.

Oh wait, didn't Mike D just coach a team full of All Stars?

Stop. If he didn't have his touches cut in half, he'd be averaging 24 again just as he was with the Raptors. Both Wade and Bosh's game has suffered for the better of the team.

His better than this what?

The Spo haters in here use a lot of "if's".

It's not a if when it's a fact. Look at his stats pre-Heat.

Being in the top 8 teams in Eastern conference isn't much of an accomplishment.
09 - They did basically what every team does with one star on their team. They went 1-4 in the playoffs.
10- They lost to a team with a lot less talent in the Finals.

This from a Heat fan. What is so dynamic about the Heat's offense. Have the best passing big man in most likely NBA history basically play PG where he has the ability to kick out the ball to a former NBA finals MVP, all time record holder of 3's made, or another perennial all star at PF?

I know I am. Its pretty simple. You seem to forget he has a HOF coach helping out at every turn as well......

Riley really gift wrapped him that team to Spo. Had Miami missed out on the big 3 in FA and they went to say NY, he'd be out of a job by now.

I think Woodson over achieved. Outside Melo, JR, and Chandler that team is god awful and old as hell.

here's the question. how many coaches of the 30 teams in the NBA couldn't manage to get the Heat's roster to the playoffs?
Managing egos is vastly underrated in the nba, so I don't believe every coach could have had equal success as Spo.

Playing the result.
That was a highly debated topic before the season started, how soon we forget.

What's so funny? Kurt Thomas, Camby, Martin, Kidd, Q-Rich all have one foot in the grave.

Comparing a team comprised of old farts vs players in their prime? Your better than this.
Miami Heats roster is older than the LA Lakers roster. Good try though.

You mentioned several players that log 0 minutes. Martin signed a 10 day contract in February to fill a roster spot and has been logging solid minutes defensively.
Kidd is out of his time but plays a few good defensive minutes per game.
The old team that everyone laughed and made fun of in the beginning of the year seems to be ok right now in the playoffs....and Woodson did a great job with the team he has IMO.

Um, I'm sorry but Miami's best players are much younger than the Lakers. Dwight is the only exception. Total team age is not what matters. It's the age of the stars.
Lebron 28 vs. Kobe 34
Wade 32 vs. Nash 40
Bosh 29 vs. Pau 33

My point still stands that outside of those 3, the team is awful.

That is why he got my vote for COY because I thought he over-achieved and surprised people.
