Large conference tie breakers suck…

There is no reason to make them complicated:
1) head to head
2) if tie in head to head, playoff rankings
That’s it. Most of these teams don’t play each other so figuring out whether duke or Miami or gt should be in between common opponents is an exercise in futility. Not to mention it can get a team like duke into the championship when Miami is clearly the better team.

The issue is giving people like Condeleeza Rice, Ivan Maisel and a bunch of administrators carte Blanche over who gets to do what in a sport. Awful system

If you want to really make things complicated you allow UVA to lose to NCST but it doesn’t count as an acc game

It's comical we have fans complaining about 9 conference games. With 16 team conferences we need 10 or 11 conference games.

In old Big12, the tie breakers were created so OU and Tejas won every one of them over every other team. It was laughable.

SEC should've stayed at 10. Would still be the best CFB conference.
