Actually, the flight was delayed, then they wanted to have practice and someone got hurt so that set them back even further. They were late by 45 minutes and actually did notify SunBowl staff of what was going on. The GT team left after waiting and decided to go eat somewhere else. There was no reason they couldnt have been eating when USC was coming in.

All reports are that GT waited 1.5 hours before they left. Sorry but after 1.5 hours they can do whatever they want

They'll keep him and let him get the program through the sanctions then start over with someone new if he keeps shitting the bed. That's IF he doesn't get them more sanctions along the way.

This is just part of the story. Yes the flight was delayed getting into El Paso. But they were late practice was pushed back because of the late flight. Now with all of the bowl practices before they left and practices to follow at the bowl site. Now your telling me he couldn't cut one practice short so the team could attend one of the few functions that both teams attend? I call bullshite on this. The may not have been planned but it was ulitmately done because USC didn't want to be there and had non respect for the Bowl, City or its opponent. Kiffin will be fired by Saturday at the latest.
