There’s 0 reason a ravens staffer fricking up should impact the playoffs like this. The league should hit them with a forefit.

Ravens players were told today by their HC John Harbaugh that, for everyone’s safety, they will not be allowed back in the training facility until Monday at the earliest, sources tell ESPN.

Ravens are scheduled to play Steelers on Sunday, so that game doesn’t seem possible.

And there it is.

If it was caused by negligence, they should’ve made them forfeit instead of moving to Sunday in the first place. Otherwise your covid protocols are jack shite.

I don’t think a lot of the details were known up until today.

There’s zero reason this shouldn’t be a forfeit. It’s a clear violation of protocols. One team not following the rules shouldn’t add an additional week to the schedule and potentially impact the playoff format.

This.

I called for the Titans to have to forfeit earlier in the year but this is many levels above even that. You’re risking compromising the integrity of the playoffs.

Forfeit, fine a bunch of money, take a first round pick and let’s move along.

Ravens believe Lamar Jackson became infected in Sunday's game vs. Titans and is only now testing positive.

Jackson took snaps from center Patrick Mekari, who tested positive.

Jackson's locker room on game day is close to RBs J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram - both tested positive.

Watch this shite all come back to the Titans, the team who initially started the schedule shenanigans.

Per Pellisero

“The NFL continues to monitor developments, but as of now, there's no change to the status of the #Ravens-#Steelers game, per source. It's still set for Sunday, after the prior postponement from tonight.“

Obviously the center and Lamar were in every huddle. Lamar was barking out the play calls. Seems like they will be lucky if it ended with just those 2.

Even as a Chiefs fan I think it would be BS if this hurts the Steelers somehow. If they can't play Sunday make the Ravens forfeit.

The Ravens started testing positive the day after the Titan game. They were infected during the game. Sure, maybe Lamar got infected during the game, but it was from one of his teammates

I don’t really think in game transmission is happening. And if it is, it’s extremely uncommon. Obviously I have nothing to prove that. Seems like there have been a lot of positives found on Monday/Tuesday and no positives found on the opposing team.

Vance McDonald played 20 snaps against the Cowboys and tested positive after. No other new cases were found between both teams.

I worded that poorly. It does seem like during game transmission is probably rare. Far more likely on flights/bus ride to stadium/ locker room

Yes, the NFL has said their data has shown that.

Lamar could turn out to be a little different though. He probably got it from the center. They interact obviously on every play. We will soon see if Lamar gave it to others barking out plays in the huddle or not.
