Due to outrageous requests from NOLA... this is stemming from a report by the LA times.

As they should. Let it backfire on the Pels and watch Ainge finesse them in the summer.

K...bye.

They were never a player. Ever. The Pelicans were never going to deal him there no matter what they offered.

if we're being honest, id rather take a lesser deal from Boston just to shove it to Lebron

The prayer for the pels is both the Celtics and lakers take an early playful exit.

I'd rather not get as good of a return from another team than see the Pels trade him to LA just out of spite for Lebron and his crew tampering.

That’s smart eta: /s

Funny thing is Pels could have really stuck it to the Lakers by accepting that trade. Team would have been gutted and would have been fricked in the summer with that Hill contract.

On the topic of tampering, are we just cool with steve Ballmer literally going to raptor games?

Sort of fake news:

Woj:

quote:

The Lakers are still glad to engage with the Pelicans on an Anthony Davis trade, but no longer want to bid against themselves, league sources tell ESPN. Lakers are waiting for Pelicans to make a counter-proposal.

and LA Times:
quote:

In this story: Monday night the Lakers changed the players in their offer to Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, Ivica Zubac and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. But Lakers weren’t interested in giving up 6-8 draft picks like Pelicans wanted.

I love it

That is likely for the Lakers regardless.
