NBA gave the power to the players years ago. David Stern started marketing individual players over teams a long time ago.

i have to pray that cooler heads will prevail. that people will sit down with the lakers and clippers and tell them all of the absolutely horrific consequences that will come if they sit out and dudes will get back to playing

but anyway, the league needs to do something to get the players under control if they have any hope being a stable league going forward

bullshite.

It was a Big Ten style attempt to strong arm the rest of the teams into calling it a season which failed.

Hence LeBron taking his ball and going home afterward.

It’s not like whoever wins this will be a legit champ anyway. Might as well go home and get ready for next season

i feel like people arent appreciating the severity of whats happening. an actual major american sport league, the third highest revenue producing sport league in the world, is like on the verge of total collapse.

I think a lot of people realize it. The dumbass players don’t though.

i have long been of the mindset of whatever, let the players do what they want as long as they keep playing

but i was wrong. the league allowed this to happen cause they gave way too much power to the players and now they are on the verge of blowing everything up

Im done being a dick to you

It sucks it came to this but it was painfully obvious it would

If Kobe was still here, I don’t think this shite would be happening right now. Not to this extent.

The whole "this will be over after the election" thing is overblown, but this boils down to them hating Trump.

LeBron wants to be able to make it look like he made a power play and won. He'll get some concessions in the morning and go on TV talking shite about "bigger than basketball"

No because the “leader” of the players is an emotional child.
