Kobe's career goes from 96-2003, 2008-20...

He scored 81 in 2006. Its like the rest of 2004-2007 never happened.

No mention of Kobe acting like a bitch for a 3 or 4 year span, or the Lakers being a mediocre team, at best, during the prime of Kobe's career. Or Kobe taking zero shots in the 2nd half of a game 7 playoff loss to Phoenix. Or the trade demands that followed. Andrew Bynum still has tire marks on his forehead from Kobe running him over with a bus, as well.

Dude torpedoed the whole Lakers organization.

JMO, his behavior is probably pretty near the same as what Michael Jordan would have been like were he on a losing franchise in the prime of his career.

So, in that respect Kobe was probably eminently successful in imitating his idol's behavior.

Everybody seems to forget that Kobe Bryant forced a trade from the hornets before he even played his first nba game. He's in the same boat with Eli manning leaving the chargers and Payton not coming out of college early because he didn't want the saints to draft him.

Seems to have worked out the best for all of them.

Kobe torpedoes an organization and wins two titles.

Lebron torpedoes an organization and they stay in the lottery.

Obviously, Kobe threatened to leave the Lakers and shite in the post Shaq years because his teammates were semi-functioning retards at best.

I am sure the other hyper competitive players would have done the same thing. Do you really your favorite player, Michael Jordan, would have sat back and gone 48-34 with a second round exit. frick no? Jordan would have bitched everyone out until he had some real complimentary pieces.
