I will say that Kobe bitches a lot but if you think it's more than James and Wade you just aren't watching with unbiased eyes

It's absolutely more. Those two bitch, but it's in a different way. Not in the hissy fit "I'm a 7 year old girl" pouting all over the court type of way.

Thank you. Any sort of negative anti-Hornets comments over there sends you into banland. Hornets doing a good job so far. It won't last into the second half.

So they bitch just as much but it's a better quality of bitching? I can go along with that I guess

Yea, sure. I'll go with that. It's a less noticeable type of bitching.

Kobe is way too animate with it. Putting his hands out, slapping his hands when he's pissed, sitting on the floor for 15 seconds complaining about a foul when he wasn't fricking close to being touched, hitting a fade away and then pointing to the ref saying he was slapped, bitching when he gets bumped down low and a foul isn't called (even though it wasn't a foul at all, he just is used to getting undeserved foul calls).

ETA: I'm obviously kidding. Kobe bitches more. How about the play where he stepped through the double team down low, makes a great shot, and then puts both hands out to the official pleading for a foul? Both defenders were going straight up, and that is literally a foul ONLY Kobe would get. And he was pissed because for once, they didn't give it to him.

According to Monty Williams Gray has a mild ankle sprain and should be available for game 2. It looked a hell of a lot worse than that

Ankle injuries always look a lot worse. I had a feeling he would be ok and its good to hear he'll be ready to play in game 2.

I would suggest that the amount that the bitching affects sn individual has a direct relationship with how the viewer feels about the player. The Heat are like clowns to me with their crying while you are obviously a Kobe-hater.

I hate how Kobe acts on the court. He's an awesome player.

I have both games saved on my TV. You can come over and watch and see for yourself. It's not even close. The amount of bitching Kobe did today was unprecedented.

Kobe was fíng fantastic for 42 minutes.

But it should have been obvious that in the final 4-6 minutes, the offense stalled because the ball was going to Kobe and you just knew he wasn't passing the ball, and he was going to take virtually every shot.

You're probably right about these two particular games. When you are awarded three times the free throws the other team gets it's hard to bitch on every play!! Watch James and Wade sometimes though and count the crying. It's real comedy!

Btw, I'm not a big Kobe fan but the dude shows up to win, I respect that.

Sure, everyone respects Kobe. He's really good and he's had a great career. But his complaining is getting a bit obsessive.

And like I've said, sure other players around the league complain about calls, but it's not as noticeable or frustrating as watching Kobe do it.

It is not like the guys on the Lakers really had a good game, except for Kobe and Artest was pretty decent. Gasol was atrocious, Fisher was torched by Paul, and the Hornets played out of their minds. Chris Paul thought it was 2008, Gray was the best big in the game, and the Hornets only had three turnovers.

The Lakers brought out a C game and the Hornets brought their A game, so to speak. Obviously, the Lakers will need to pick it up, but I still the Lakers will win in 6 or maybe even less.
