Enjoy getting drubbed by Milwaukee in the divisional round

Milwaukee has pretty obviously been playing over their heads all year, while the Braves couldn't get healthy. The Braves won't be getting Acuna back, but with other guys back, and the acquisitions they've made, it looks a lot more like last year's Braves... With actual starting pitching, this time.

I respect the Brewers, but when I think of teams to fear, they aren't one of them.

Well ok then.
Corbin, Peralta, and Woodruff might be the best 1-3 in baseball and I personally would hate to see them in a best-of-5 DS. That could easily turn into sweep city against anyone outside the NL West

All three of those guys have been pitching over their heads. That is my point. And their offense is not that good.

The Braves haven't had much trouble scoring against the Brewers this season, and lost a couple of really close games. You take this Braves team, the way they're playing now, and those games would be very different.

Milwaukee seems to do this every few years, where they take a less than impressive roster and somehow go on a run, only to go nowhere in the playoffs, when the pressure is on. And the Braves shook their first round playoff demons last year. I'm not saying it would be an easy series, but the Brewers aren't a dominating team that I fear will crush my team. They just aren't that type of team.

Yes, its an Atlanta address. But its not Atlanta proper, i.e.the city limits. They play across the Hooch in Cobb.

Geography wasn't your strong suit, was it?

Where is Truist park?

Map of Cobb County

Truist Park on a map

Crazy. Not in Atlanta. I figured it woulda been a Smyrna address. I lived .3 miles away couple years ago and was a Smyrna address.

The NL East? How about the AL Central? The NL Central isn't much better, either.

if they win the division, it will be the moves at deadline that was the difference, especially remaking their outfield with Joc Pederson, Jorge Soler, Eddie Rosario and Adam Duvall

Was it a different zip code?

That area of Cobb is weird. The road map has the road monikers as “SE” since the area is located in the SE side of the county, but the zip code 30339 is technically still unincorporated Atlanta. Some people consider it Marietta, others Smyrna. I just call it Cumberland.

Speaking as a resident of 30339, it has an Atlanta address because at the time ZIP codes were created, the city of Atlanta was technically the closest incorporated area nearby. It also has the added side benefit of allowing residents and businesses to claim an Atlanta address while enjoying Cobb taxes.

I get all that but it was probably the explanation for the Smyrna mailing address and it's my understanding the "Cumberland" area wants to try to incorporate and include Vinings I believe.

Yeah I've always considered it Smyrna myself but it is an Atlanta zip.

Aren't you the one who said metro Atlanta extended all the way to the AL and TN borders?

Isn’t vinings its own municipality?
