The Ragin' Cajuns hold a 78-64 lead in the all-time series against Louisiana Tech despite losing both meetings a year ago. Last year's contests ended a seven-year hiatus between the two programs. Louisiana is 27-10 against La Tech under head coach Tony Robichaux.

Louisiana won its first Sunbelt opener in 6 years. Spilt a pair with Arky St. Positioned nicely in the conference standings, poised to make a run at the 'Ship.
It's ULL, stop trying to class it up dirt.

I went to 2 of the 3 games and Southern Miss was knocking the cover off the baseball. They have a freshman from Minnesota playing center and pitching that is as good of a college freshman player as I have seen besides Bregman. He came into the game to pitch on Friday in the 7th and was throwing 93-94 consistently.

This douche was talking about ULM and calling it Louisiana to try and rib Cajun fans. You really think we wouldn't have won a Sun Belt opener in 6 years? Come on dude. ULM is terrible and this guy is just trying to get a piece of the action.

Sorry for the late update this week.
Big Matchup midweek is SLU at LSU. Lions have been playing well and LSU got a much needed sweep over UGA. This matchup is a nod to the quality of baseball played in Louisiana.
LSU has an important series this week at Florida. Big opportunity for the Tigers and could go a long way towards them earning/not earning a national seed. Granted, Florida just got swept by Auburn but it is still a big name program on the road.
McNeese hosts Nicholls. Both teams are at the top of conference and a sweep or win by either squad will help them create some separation.
Interesting Tuesday that was not good for many Louisiana teams.
Tulane absolutely owned McNeese. Could be a turning point for the Green Wave. Definitely makes an interesting matchup tonight with ULL (who is coming off a 4-0 loss to Houston).
La Tech continues their slide after a hot start falling to SFA 6-2. Tech has a relatively weak early schedule and will need to turn it up a notch this weekend to avoid losing all the momentum and goodwill earned early season.
ULM knocked off Grambling as expected.
UNO loss to Mizzou State and has a tough game again tonight against Arkansas.
NSU will try and reverse their slide tonight against Lamar.

Anyway back to baseball. Quality win last night by Louisiana's Warhawks over a tough Grambling squad. Setting up for a fine weekend of rain against UL-ittlerock. With luck it'll rainout 2 of 3 and we'll turn our eyes to the pine trees and Lady Techsters.

This Lady Techsters are actually building a nice softball program / team. Still a good bit of work to do but if I were you, I would rather play the baseball team right now.
