Yeah, I don’t get the Brunson as a first banana love either. I think he’s going to struggle when he’s not playing off Luka. Shades of the brokedick Isaiah Thomas but the jumper isn’t as consistent.

He's given 0 shits for 3 years. Can you imagine how little he'll care after getting like 200+ mil guaranteed. Any team that pays him is stupid.
This is why the NBA is trash the players have such a free reign that contracts don't matter and neither does the ability or desire to actually play basketball at this point

I don't know if Portland would sign and trade Nurk or if Brooklyn would want him with his injury issues
Also, don't forget they got Jerami Grant recently.
Depending on who they'd give up, you'd be looking at a Lillard-One of their younger guards-Durant-Grant Nurkic. That's pretty solid

I know they aren't likely to keep Ayton, but what are they going to do in the post if they let him go?
They're already near the bottom of the league in cap space and that's before re-signing Ayton or taking on Durant if they choose so
