Yep.

Look at it like this...

Wall is deemed lazy and plays for a horrible franchise that had knuckleheads like Javale McGee, Nick Young and Andray Blatche.

And he still puts up 16/8/5/2.

Kyrie is at 18/5/4.

If Wall ever figures it out....watch out.

I still wouldnt be surprised if him and Cousins join the same team years from now.

thank god two of them fricks are gone. The trade with the hornets gets some decent players and some mature vets to help the kid out as a bridge for this team with its young players

Wall has 2 years of development on kyrie and kyrie is still considerably better. The gap is only going to get bigger too.

It's 1 year, and John Wall has more potential than Kyrie Irving.

Kyrie also has those stats playing 6 minutes less than Wall a game.

Great point. I think Kyrie is a future star in this league. Ramon Sessions was tha starter until Byron handed over the team to Kyrie. Kyrie averaged less than 31 min a game. I like Wall, but I think Kyrie if he hasnt passed him already will do so next season.

didn't know that

Wall is more explosive and better passing the ball

Irving is a much better shooter and is not wreckless like wall. I think its almost a wash right now with a slight edge to Irving b/c his shooting ability.

If Wall gets a jumper he will turn into one of the best PG in the league. These guys are what 20/21 long way to go.

Truth...I have faith Chris Grant will inject loads of talent in this draft. Cavs are about 2-3 years away from being serious contenders.

I'd say Uncle Drew, and it's not really close...

Kyrie will leave first chance he gets, like any player with a brain would.

Plus, Miami, Indy, and Chicago aren't going anywhere. Orlando will always be in the picture with Howard, and the Knicks have the chance to solidify the next couple years.

Cleveland's ceiling, even with Kyrie is about 5th-6th in the East.

I think the Cavs are finally getting some cap space with Jamison's contract finally ending. Hopefully, management can snag someone decent in free agency.

I think Kyrie will stay in Cleveland awhile. Everything I've read makes it seem like he really enjoys his situation.

There is a reason Kyrie played 6 less minutes.

Because he's dreadful on defense. Byron Scott had to take him off the floor cause he's a liability on defense.

No way. When Varejao and Kyrie were healthy they were pretty much a playoff team this year. It all depends on how good Kyrie gets.

Whoever said Wall has more potential is only looking at athleticism. Irving had a rookie season on par with the best PG's of all time at age 19. His percentages were 47/40/87, that is insane for a rookie. And for all those people who love 'closers', Kyrie shot 55% in clutch time this year.
