The bottom line is, Kobe isn't a team player.

Why do you think that, because ESPN told you so?

He's a ball hog. Do you ever see him pulling an MJ and taking a pay cut to keep a high caliber player?????

When is the last time you saw a Laker game?

And you see King James taking a pay cut?

Because obviously the Lakers are lacking money because he has no second or third option on his team. Please. Gasol and Bynum have pretty nice contracts.

They lucked into those. Did Kobe reduce his contract to acquire them?

Why would he reduce his contract when the team could already afford him? Wow.

I just think that Lebron is more old school, like MJ and LB, than Kobe.

You're kidding, right?? Lebron is a completely different type of player if you ask me. I really can't compare his style to anyone. Kobe is more like MJ than Lebron ever will be in that he has an all around game. I'm sure many will disagree with me but that's just my honest opinion.

I'm not talking on the court play. My impression is that Lebron is more of a team player in the same sense of MJ. Kobe might have more of the same on-court skills of MJ, but Lebron is more like MJ when it comes to off the court stuff.

How old are you people to not realize that on court play doesn't measure the greatness of a player. In 50 years, when people look back on Lebron and Kobe, the are going to see a whiny kid compared to a great leader. Kobe bitches too much and Lebron just does what he does.
