Fwiw the lunotriquetral ligament is pretty damn small. If he didn't tear the part that attaches to the ulna it shouldn't be that big a deal.

You're basically talking about a ligament that attaches one small hand bone to another not the bones of the hand to your arm.

Lakers will not be a good team, but Kobe will perform at a high level. He's played through a lot of adversity and injuries in his career. In fact, playing basketball is pretty much the only thing he cares about year round.
