I just read a post on Twitter that LSU just dissolved their Football Program.They are afraid that the fan base is going to commit suicide because Football is not going to be undefeated every year.

My thought is not about helmet to helmet, but the number of head injuries. Both the NCAA and NFL need to figure it out. Too many at the skilled position (read quarterback) are getting concussions. It seems that it happeneing more frequently. Also, it seems as though the further into the season there are more - maybe a build up of hits from the previous games.

The Independence Bowl was equal to or a little higher than the Liberty Bowl. However, the SEC kept giving the Liberty Bowl the more advantageous pick. The Independence Bowl was getting the worse pick and / or no pick if there were not enough qualifying teams.
All fans would have liked to keep the SEC / Big 12 Match up, but the SEC caused that to go away.
